Rosaleda Farm is located in Northern Chester County. It is nestled in the heart of beautiful landscapes, dotted with farmhouses common to rural Pennsylvania areas. It is a beautifully restored landmark in the late 18th century design. Until 2010 is was a agricultural working farm. Since then, farming has been replaced with the raising and breeding of sheep and ecoagriculturalism.
Rosaleda Farm is 20 acres of rolling hills, pastures, wooded areas, streams and a fish pond. The original farmhouse is occupied by Rose and Oscar who are the current owners, proprietors and shepherds. They personally maintain the property. The ambiance of the farm reflects a blend of 18th Century Chester County farmland with European and Mexican influences. The name, Rosaleda, is Spanish for Rose Garden.
Rosaleda Farm is an exquisite 18th Century farm that lends itself to romance in simple elegance. There are several original structures on the grounds. The Barn, Shed and Cold House. The Barn has been reconstructed by professional Amish barn builders. The most exciting feature is the open concept space that accommodates large elegant parties to small more intimate gathering for any occasion. The main floor of the Barn is an open area with a magnificent dance floor. There is a central staircase that leads to the loft area which is perfect for enjoying a glass of wine, mingling and looking onto the main floor.
